D:G: MAG: BRI: FRA: ET. HIBER: REX., outer beaded border both sides, rev initial mark five pellets at left of legend, Declaration inscription in three wavy lines on continuous scroll from legend, RELIG: PROT / :LEG: ANG: / LIBER PAR:, date and OXON below with pellets each side, value and three Shrewsbury style plumes above, top left plume touches streamer from scroll, legend reads EXVRGAT. DEVS. DISSIPENTVR. INIMICI, 26.89g (Beresford-Jones dies VII/S11; Schneider 303; Brooker 841; N 2385; S 2729). A very well struck example, of yellow appearance, perhaps from some light gilding, otherwise fully round, good very fine and better than usually seen.
