ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.38 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Polycharm-, Nikog-, and Demosthe-, magistrates. Struck 133/2 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; winged kerykeion to left, Ξ on amphora; ME in exergue. Thompson 379h; HGC 4, 1602. Good VF, lightly toned, minor porosity on the obverse.
