AXUM. Armah. Circa 540-580. Æ (22mm, 2.60 g, 12h). King enthroned right, holding long, cross-tipped scepter; pellet below chin / Voided Greek cross within grain ear wreath; center of cross with gold insert. Hahn, Aksumite, 72b; Munro-Hay type 153; BMC Axum 573 and 579. Near VF, thick earthen green and red patina, three small edge splits.
