CELTIC, Iceni. Uninscribed. Circa 65-1 BC. AR Unit (13mm, 1.32 g). Eyelash Crescents (Icenian F) type. Devolved head of Apollo right, with wreath in cross shape and opposed crescents at center / Horse leaping right; radiate pellet-in-annulet below, four pellets above. Van Arsdell 679; ABC 1588; SCBC 435. Good VF, toned, faint porosity.
