SICILY, Leontini. Circa 425-420 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 17.76 g, 4h). Laureate head of Apollo right / Head of roaring lion right; LEONTIN-ON and four barley grains around, tripod to lower left. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 63 (same dies); HGC 2, 675; SNG ANS 255 (same dies). Good VF, toned, struck with worn dies, delamination on obverse. Very rare.
