Majorian. AD 457-461. AR Half Siliqua (11mm, 0.43 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in Northern Gaul. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust right, [holding spear forward] and shield decorated with Christogram / Victory standing right, holding long cross with both hands. RIC X 2652 var. (Victory standing left); RSC 8†b-c var. (same). VF, toned, somewhat porous and a little ragged flan. Very rare, unpublished variety with Victory standing right.
