Struck after 1218. + COMЄS : PVIИCIЄ, bare head left / + CIVITΛS MΛSSIL, castle with three turrets and two towers; cross above. Rolland 17 and 24; Duplessey, Féodales 1614; Poey d'Avant 3955 (Charles I); Garret Collection II, lot 849 = Goldberg 59, lot 3751 (a specimen in similar grade, hammer $1900). Near EF, toned. Well struck.
