ISLANDS off CARIA, Kos. Circa 285-258 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.72 g, 5h). Gnosidikos, magistrate. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Crab; KΩION above, ΓNΩΣIΔIKOΣ and bow-in-bowcase below; all within dotted square. Requier Group II, 44 (D1/R1); HGC 6, 1308; SNG von Aulock 8172 (same obv. die); BMC 41a (same obv. die). VF, toned, typical compact flan, light cut on reverse. Very rare magistrate, only eleven examples noted by Requier.
