LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (19mm, 7.93 g, 7h). Wreathed head of Demeter left; [Ξ]ƎΔ below chin / Barley ear with leaf to left; lit altar above leaf, ΛY to right of stem. Johnston Class C, 10.4 = SNG ANS 503 (same dies); HN Italy 1593. EF, deeply toned, a couple light scratches under tone and minor die wear on obverse.
