Potosi, Bolivia, cob 1 real Royal, 1754q, very rare, ex-Karon. 1.94 grams. Super bold strike with full pillars and cross, possibly cut down (underweight) but decidedly better struck than the regular issues, deeply toned AXF, holed at bottom of pillars side. Pedigreed to the Paul Karon collection (Ponterio auction of March 1990, lot #937).
