Gold "oro corriente" nugget with circular tax stamp and stamp "C" for Charles I of Spain, 21.41 grams, from an unidentified early 1500s wreck in the Caribbean. Roughly 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/4". Very crude and irregular blob of gold yet with full "C" stamps and border of circular tax stamp amazingly clear (enhanced with dark encrustation), tested at 22K.
