Small silver "splash" ingot, 878 grams, with circular tax stamp of Charles I, from the "Golden Fleece wreck" (ca. 1550). 4-1/2" to 5" in diameter, 3/8" thick. Corroded and still partially coral-encrusted in spots, with weak but certain stamp visible on flat top (the bottom rounded), nice size with good heft (not too thin like some). From the "Golden Fleece wreck" (ca. 1550), with Sedwick certificate from 2005, and pedigreed to the Thomas Gray collection and formerly displayed at the ANA Money Museum's "Treasures of the Deep" exhibit (2014-15).
