Lima, Peru, cob 8 reales, 1721M. 23.22 grams. Decent centers with clear date and assayer but otherwise very crude, due to both strike and corroded surfaces. Pedigreed to the Thomas Gray collection and formerly displayed at the ANA Money Museum's "Treasures of the Deep" exhibit (2014-15). Recovered from: Princess Louisa, sunk in 1743 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa
