Seville, Spain, cob 2 escudos, Philip II, assayer not visible, extremely rare error with cross side struck from a 2R die (silver), with two tiny hallmarks (punches) on that side. 6.61 grams. Crude (weakly struck) but interesting coin with silver design on reverse punctuated by two small, circular marks, the obverse with nearly full but off-center and partially flat shield, AVF with very light shaving around edge too (possibly regulated for colonial use?).
Estimate: $1000 - 2000
