Watch List notes:

France/ Uruguay 1844-1870AD,Brass Coin Button of Carolus IIII dated 1798- TW&W corresponds to TRELON, WELDON & WEIL button-makers from Paris, they were active 1844-1970, but probably this mark is from 1844-1870.
They made buttons (named gaucho buttons) for Argentina, Chile, Uruguay .... usually in the style of coins of these countries and also copies of old spanish coins. RARE- Loops reverse missing, obverses Almost Extremely Fine, Original Pair (LOT 283 AUCTION 2)
