Black Jet Necklace. Britain, 1750-1850 AD. Faceted Jet (semi-fossilized wood) necklace, large cornerless rectangular beads with triangular pendent beads. 18" long. One pendent with chipped face. Restrung with modern clasp. Large and impressive but surprisingly light.
