Hyperpyron 1183-1185, AV 4.47 g. The Virgin, nimbate, enthroned facing, wearing pallium and maphorium; on her breast, head of the Infant Christ; in field, MHP ligate – ΘV. Rev. ANΔPONIKOC – ΔεCΠOTH Christ standing on r., nimbate, and Andronicus, on l., standing facing; Christ wears pallium and colobium, holds Book of Gospels and crowns Andronicus who wears divitision, loros and sagion and holds labarum and globus cruciger. In field, IC – XC. DO 1. Sear 1983.
