Aspron trachy, Nicaea 1208-1212 (?), EL 4.38 g. Christ enthroned facing, with decorated nimbus, wearing tunic and colobium, holding Book of Gospels; in field, IC – XC. Rev. ΘEOΔωPOC DECΠOT Theodore on l., wearing divitision, loros and sagion, and St. Theodore on r., nimbate, and wearing military tunic, breastplate and sagion, both holding sheathed sword and long, star-tipped shaft between them. An insignificant flan crack at 6 o'clock on obverse, otherwise good extremely fine
