Aspron trachy, Trebizond 1222-1235, AR 4.38 g. Christ, nimbate, seated facing on backless throne; in field, IC – XC. Rev. ANΔPONIKOC – [...] Andronicus standing facing on l. wearing loros and holding anexikakia, and St. George standing facing on r. in military attire holding sheathed sword; both holding patriarchal cross between them. Of the highest rarity, only the second specimen known. Double-struck on obverse
and with some minor encrustations and a flan crack at five o'clock on obverse,
otherwise virtualy as struck and almost Fdc
