Double-sestertius 249-251, Æ 50.14 g. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust r., with drapery on l. shoulder. Rev. FELICITAS SAECVLI / S – C Felicitas standing l., holding long caduceus and cornucopiae. C 39. RIC 115a.
Rare. A magnificent portrait of high style struck on an impressive flan, attractive
brown tone and traces of the original silvering on reverse. Scratches on
reverse field, which are the results of a crude attempt of removing
the silvering, otherwise about extremely fine
