DN IVSTI – NVS PP AVC Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, three-quarters r., holding spear and decorated shield with horseman and fallen enemy motif. Rev. fascination. Two almost invisible metal flaws, otherwise extremely fine
Approximately twenty examples are known of this coin, all from the same dies, and all coming from a hoard found in Gourdon (Charlon-sur-Seine) in 1845. The majority of these coins are in public collections.
