In the name of Constantine IV, 668-685. Solidus, Beneventum (?) 662-706, AV 4.32 g. AV dN CON – TNYSS Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, three-quarters r., holding spear and decorated shield with horseman and fallen enemy motif. Rev. VICTORI – VCyT Cross potent on three steps flanked by two crowned standing figures (Heraclius and Tiberius), wearing chlamys and holding long cross in r. hand. In exergue, CONOB. MEC I, 1085 var. (Heraclius and Tiberius holding globus cruciger).

This coin was probably struck in Southern Italy, influenced heavily by the mints of Rome and Syracuse.
The prototype is to be dated 674-681.
