Well centered and well struck. Son of Marcus Aurelius, he succeeded his illustrious father who died on campaign. A central figure in the movie "The Gladiator," he was cruel and megalomaniacal, believing himself to be the reincarnation of Hercules, and was murdered after many plots against his life.
