Pamphylia, Side. Silver Stater (10.89 g), ca. 460-430 BC. Pomegranate; to upper right, forepart of lion left. Reverse: Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, within incuse square. Atlan 24 (O22/A22); SNG BN 626 (same obv. die). Rare. A far better strike than usually encountered for this rare early issue. Underlying luster still present. NGC grade Ch AU; Strike: 4/5, Surface: 4/5. Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,200
