Nero, AD 54-68. AE Sestertius (27.4g). Uncertain provincial mint, probably Perinthus in Thrace, ca. AD 65. Laureate head of Nero right, globe at point of bust. Reverse: Statuary group of the emperor in quadriga flanked by Victory and Pax atop triumphal arch; at cornices, soldiers or torch bearers; in side niche of arch, statue of Mars holding spear. Cf.
