Great Britain. Crown, 1700. S.3474; ESC-97; Dav-3782. William III, 1694-1702. Edge reads DVODECIMO. Obverse, draped portrait of King right (third bust variety) by James Roettier. Legend reads: GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. Reverse, crowned cruciform shields and third harp with scroll front and back. Mint state with an attractive and deep tone. An unusually well centred and sharply struck coin with a deep and attractive tone over original mint luster, and no evidence of the usual hay marking, blank filing and die imperfections associated with this issue. An outstanding example. NGC graded MS-61. Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500
