Great Britain. Proof or Trial Halfpenny, 1868. Peck-1794; KM-PnQ115 (KM-748.2). Struck in Copper-Nickel. Victoria. Obverse, Wyon's portrait of Queen with bun. Reverse, Britannia right. Mint state with mirror fields under light toning. This is one of several denominations produced in nickel in this year as a deliberate experiment by the Royal Mint when considering changes to the metal types of the nation's coinage.
