Great Britain. Mint Error 20 Pence, 1998. Struck on a small neat round nickel or cupro-nickel (foreign on NGC holder) planchet, well centred and with a weight of 2.8 grams (normally 5 grams) this may have been produced as a result of experimentation at the British Royal Mint. In the early 1990s the size (and weight) of the 5 pence and 10 pence coins was reduced dramatically, and there is speculation that the same fate was later considered for the 20 pence coin. NGC graded MS-65. Estimated Value $100 - 125
