Obverse, 'Les Gavroches,' the work by Maltese sculptor Antonio Sciortino in Barracka Gardens, Valetta, Malta. Date to the right, £M100 below. Reverse, stylised sun and sailing boat REPUBBLIKA TA MALTA.
An excessively rare 'off-metal' striking of a coin which is only recorded in gold. We believe this is one of perhaps only two examples known. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo. Estimated Value $400 - 500
