THE COLLECTION OF A CLASSICIST (PART 2), BRITISH COINS, Henry VI (first reign, 1422-1461), Silver Halfgroat, Calais mint, annulet issue, facing crowned bust, annulet either side of neck, initial mark cross pattée both sides, rev long cross fourchée, trefoil of pellets in each inner angle, annulet in two quarters (N 1429; S 1840); Edward IV (second reign, 1470-1471), Silver Halfgroat, Canterbury mint, C on breast of King, initial mark rose, rev rose at centre (S 2108). First good very fine, second with rim clipped, about very fine, both toned. (2)
