Charles Tuer (b 1803 in Birdham, Sussex), married Elizabeth (b 1808 in Bolvenden), and their daughter Arabella was born in 1842. Copperas stones containg iron pyrites, were gathered on the Kentish shore from the 1600's and onwards.
