Republic silver Specimen Pattern 50 Cents Year 3 (1914) SP55 PCGS, obverse die signed by L. Giorgi, KM-Pn27, Kann-655a, L&M-68. An extremely scarce pattern issue, particularly when certified in a problem-free designation. Despite trace amounts of wear to the highpoints of the devices and scattered handling, the surfaces overall are pleasing, with light russet tone accentuated by blue-green highlights.
