Republic silver Pattern Dragon and Phoenix Dollar Year 12 (1923) MS63 NGC, KM-Y336, Kann-680, L&M-81. Small Characters variety. Obv. Unadopted national emblem of Dragon and Phoenix. Rev. Value, in small characters, within wreath. A handsome example of this issue with medium tone over full underlying luster. Numerous die polishing lines are noted on the reverse along with an area along the upper periphery that appears to be a faded stain.
