People's Republic bimetallic Proof Panda 100 Yuan (12 oz) 1992 Gem Cameo Proof, KM-Unlisted with gold insert (cf. KM399 for this type without the gold inlay, the inlay itself being KM392). An unusual example, most likely created in the aftermarket and ostensibly created as a tribute to Ling-Ling according to the private issue COA. A 1992 gold 10 Yuan has been inset into the field of the 100 Yuan. A handful of circular marks are noted around the inlay, likely created when starting the hole for the 10 Yuan with whatever machining tool was utilized.
