While lower denominations of this iconic series with a 1940 date are plentiful, the higher denominations of 500 and 1000 Yuan are rare due to their large amount of purchasing power. This is a very attractive PCGS Choice New 63 example. In December 2015 we had a PMG 58 Pick 99 bring $501.90.
