EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Roman Republican. Uncertain Tribe. After 100 BC. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.37 g, 8h). Imitating obverse of Marcus Calidius or Cn. Fulvius, reverse of P. Servillius Rullus. Helmeted head of Roma right; E to left, X below chin / Figure in biga right; Γ below, pseudo-legend in exergue. Davis Class C, Group II, B2 (this coin). For prototype: cf. Crawford 284/1 (obv.) and 328/1 (rev.). VF, lightly toned, a couple scrapes on obverse.
