THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 450/40-420 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 6.05 g, 12h). The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head / Bridled horse rearing right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 48 (same dies); BCD Thessaly II 174; HGC 4, 420. Near VF, toned, struck slightly off center, a few light scratches.
