THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 450/40-420 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 5.93 g, 11h). The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head / ΛΑPI / ΣΑΙΑ, bridled horse rearing right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 50 (same obv. die); BCD Thessaly I 1128; BCD Thessaly II 174 (same dies); HGC 4, 420. Good VF, toned, metal flaw on the reverse.
