EASTERN CELTS. 3rd-2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24qmm, 14.12 g 10), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦIIΛΠΠ - O - I Horseman to right, holding palm frond and reins; below horse, Λ above torch; in field to right, palm (?). Cf. Göbl OTA pl. 5, 22/3 and Lanz 370. A lovely example with attractive toning. Good very fine.
