Palmyrene, Palmyra Æ15. Circa 2nd century AD. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Facing bust of Baal, wearing polos, between radiate bust of the sun-god Yarhibol right and bust of the moon-god Aglibol left / Nike left, holding palm and setting scales on baetyl. Krzyźanowska, Monnayage type I; De Saulcy p. 64, 1; Du Buisson p. 722 and fig. 306. 2.65g, 15mm, 11h. Good Very Fine. Rare and by far the best offered since 1999.
