EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Roman Republican. Geto-Dacians. After 42 BC. AR Denarius (17.5mm, 3.35 g, 11h). Imitating P. Clodius Turrinus. Stylized head of Apollo left / Diana standing facing, holding two torches; pseudo-legends at sides. Davis Class A, Group II, M238 (this coin). For prototype: cf. Crawford 494/23. Near VF, toned, numerous scratches.
