Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. Æ As (25mm, 8.91 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Vespasian, AD 76-77. Laureate and draped bust right / Aequitas standing left holding scales and rod. RIC II 930 and note 177 (Vespasian; same obv. die as illustration for 928 [a dupondius]); Helios 6, lot 142 = Gorny & Mosch 156, lot 2040 (same dies); CNG E-270, lot 276 (same dies). Near EF, attractive brown patina with some spots of green, nicely struck, good metal. Very rare mule of dupondius obverse with as reverse.
