UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES. Circa 2nd-4th centuries AD. AV "Quinarius" (17mm, 3.35 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in the region between the Danube and the Dnieper. UO(H with central vertical bar)И O(H with central vertical bar), laureate and cuirassed bust left / N(retrograde C)ИOL O(horizontal D)HC, Hercules, with lion skin draped over arm, standing facing, head right, holding club and [Apples of the Hesperides]; tree to right. Sergeev, pp. 217–8 and cf. catalog 227 (for aureus with attached loop). Good VF, suspension loop attached.
