ITALY. M. Junius Brutus the Younger. 85-42 BC. Cast Æ Medal (33mm, 15.89 g, 6h). Manufactured circa 16th century. Laureate head of Brutus right / Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium; shields around and behind; ROMA in exergue; S C across field. See Bange 175 (for another example). Good VF, brown and green patina, some finishing marks.
