KINGS of PARTHIA. Phraates IV. Circa 38-2 BC. Æ Drachm (18mm, 3.63 g, 12h). Local imitation of a Susa mint issue. Diademed and draped bust left; to right, eagle left, crowning him with wreath / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; T below bow; additional monogram above bow. Cf. Sellwood 52.25 (for type); Sunrise –; cf. Shore 289 (same). Fine, brown surfaces, obverse rough.
