Saxe-Meiningen. Bernhard Erich Freund 2 Taler 1853 MS65 NGC, Munich mint, engraved by Ferdinand Helfricht, KM160, Dav-836, Thun-377. A marvelous specimen, perfectly struck for all intents and purposes and prevented from an ever-higher technical grade only by a couple of small marks, well hidden within the details of the engraving.
