Saxe-Meiningen. Bernhard Erich Freund 2 Taler 1854 MS65 NGC, Munich mint, engraved by Ferdinand Helfricht, KM160, Dav-836, Thun-377. A remarkable Gem with velvety, luster, few noteworthy surface abrasions, and mottled russet tone. By a fairly wide margin, this is currently the finest example certified with a single MS62 at NGC and a pair of MS63's at PCGS. Very scarce thus.From the Cape Coral Collection of Multiple Talers
