Appenzell. Canton 4 Franken 1812 MS62 NGC, Bern mint, KM9, Dav-360, HMZ-228A. Mintage: 2,357. One-year type. Boldly struck, with a touch of golden patina that clings to the raised design, but surfaces that remain essentially brilliant otherwise with a touch of prooflike reflectivity in the fields.
