Uri. City gold Ducat 1720 MS62 PCGS, KM36, Fr-406, HMZ-2991c. An exceptional ducat in terms of execution, long coveted by collectors for the eye-catching illustration of St. Martinus on horseback on one side and the arms of Uri, featuring a forward facing bull head, on the other. This example happens to be outstanding in terms of preservation as well, with full gleam in the fields and sharp detailing over the raised surfaces. Scattered handling defines the grade, but none of it causes great concern to the eye. As the only example of the date graded by PCGS or NGC, an important opportunity for the collector assembling a certified set. From the Redwood Collection of Swiss Coins
