Confederation 5 Francs 1894-B MS64 PCGS, Bern mint, KM34, Dav-392, HMZ-21198. Stunning multi-hued patina exists on both sides with gold, blue, russet and argent-gray colors over minimally marked surfaces. The devices are heavily frosted, and the fields deeply mirrored, which adds a definite cameo effect and further propels the eye-appeal to rarified levels. Although marked as a MS64 by PCGS, we feel that this piece has many of the qualities of a Specimen strike and would be the first we have seen.
